This is the first time that we have ever worked together in such a large disaster. The going was tough, no one was immune from the heartache and there were many times when we did not know what else was happening. Many of us were frantic to keep assisting the fireys and those heroes on the frontline. Australian Practitioners Emergency Response Network in action..Thank you all. Lets hope the worst is over and that we can move smoothly into helping with the recovery.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6594366393175995988.post-69748117224675373412009-02-27T07:00:00.000+11:002009-02-27T07:00:00.000+11:00I arrived at "Camp Healesville" on Saturday 21st o...I arrived at "Camp Healesville" on Saturday 21st of Feb. with the NSWRFS from the Northern Rivers.
An ongoing problem with my neck was made worse by the travel and was told to get it seen to at the massage shed. Apon arrival I received my "first ever massage" by a fella who took no time to find the area of trouble and I came away more than ready for the night shift I had been tasked to. You people were fantastic and a large number of blokes I worked with couldn't have done their job as well as they did without you all there.
On behalf of the NSWRFS I would like to thank you all for your efforts and we were lucky to have had you as part of the "Camp Healesville" family.
Regards AndrewAnonymousnoreply@blogger.com
